‘The Goshen Sanctuary’ will provide an integrated, wrap-around service for individuals aged 8-16. Specifically, this provision will take the form of suitable types of accommodation, access to education, post-16 training and apprenticeships, person-centred health and care support packages and advocacy services. The primary aim of such integrated support is to empower young people, marginalised by circumstance, to overcome social exclusion and minimise the disruption this can cause to their adult lives. In essence, it’s about breaking the cycle of dependency(on benefits or unsuitable care arrangements especially) and provide genuine opportunity to such individuals to grow, change their mindset and become independent, economically active and social connected adults.
