Aims of the The Goshen Sanctuary

  1. Build the right foundations for ‘The Goshen Sanctuary’ to flourish by establishing amulti-skilled and widely experienced Board of Trustees, headed by a dynamic andforward-thinking Chair.
  2. Provide a dynamic environment for vulnerable children and young people to feel safe,secure, and able to benefit from a wide range of opportunities that unlocks their potentialto live better, more informed and enriching lives.
  3. Actively encourage all those young people ‘The Goshen Sanctuary’ comes into contactwith to live independent lives, so as to instil a sense of self-responsibility, self-respectand self-reliance as they grow towards adulthood
  4. Always seek and maintain an open dialogue approach with all organisations and bodiesoperating in the children services’ sector, so as to enable ‘The Goshen Sanctuary’ to actas a conduit, where relevant, to co-ordinate the resources of disparate organisations andhelp to develop a joined-up approach to vulnerable children’s service provision.
  5. Always remain knowledgeable as an organisation of the wider debate, at a local andnational level, around the strategy and delivery of services for vulnerable children andyoung people, so as to ensure ‘The Goshen Sanctuary’ portfolio of services evolves toremain appropriate, relevant and effective at all times
